Guyanese Cops Offer $3M Reward For Info On Murdered Teens

(LOOP NEWS CARIBBEAN) – Guyana’s Police Force (GPF) has announced that it is offering three million Guyanese dollars for information on the murders of teenagers Joel Henry, Isaiah Henry and Haresh Singh.

Cousins Joel, 18 and Isaiah, 16, were brutally murdered and their mutilated bodies dumped at the backdam in Cotton Tree, West Coast, Berbice on September 6.

Their killings sparked protests with calls for justice.

A few days later on September 9, Haresh Singh, 17, was found beaten to death in West Coast, Berbice in what was believed to be an act of retaliation for the murders of the Henry cousins.

The Police Force says it is diligently exploring every possible lead to bring the perpetrator (s) to justice.

The three-million-dollar reward is being offered to any person who can provide information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators of the gruesome murders.

Investigations into the murders are ongoing.
