PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consum ers in Birchgrove, Upper Capitol, Lower Capitol, St. James, La Digue and surrounding communities in the parish of St. Andrew that the current in terruption in their water supply is due to a damaged water main.
Restoration is anticipated by 2:00 p.m., today on Tuesday October 6th, 2020.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply, taking into consideration the needs of their family and pets.
Please also advised that although the system will be reopened at 2:00 p.m.; consumers in elevated areas, may not receive their supply until within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
The Authority apologises for any inconveniences caused and thanks con sumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, ade quate and reliable water supply.
