PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers in the following areas that due to network repairs, they will experience interruptions in their water supply as follows:
Saturday 5th, September 2020:
Botanical Gardens, Paddock and surrounding areas between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.;
St. Paul’s, Mt. Airy, Morne Delice, La Borie, Mt. Parnassus, The Bocas and surrounding communities between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.;
and Sunday 6th, September 2020:
Lucas Street, The Villa, Archibald Avenue and surrounding communities between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to collect and store water in clean, covered containers, prior to the scheduled interruptions in supply.
Please also advised that although the system will be reopened at 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. respectively; consumers in elevated areas, may not receive their supply until within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
Motorists are also advised that there may be delays in the flow of traffic along the St. Pau’s Main Road in the vicinity of Roebuck Gap, on Saturday and Lucas Street in the vicinity of the Open Bible Church on Sunday. Motorists are therefore encouraged to use alternative routes to get to their various destinations.
The Authority apologises for any inconveniences caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
