Message Of Condolence On Death Of Kashida St. Bernard

PR –  The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development, Religious Affairs and Information expresses heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, students and work colleagues of Kashida St. Bernard, 27, of River Sallee, St. Patrick, who died on August 30, 2020.

St. Bernard joined the teaching profession nine years ago. She was a Certificated I Teacher, who taught at the Westerhall Secondary School and the St. Louis Girls R.C. School. At the time of her death, she was a Grade 2 teacher at the Holy Spirit Catholic School (Chantimelle R.C. School), and was about to commence her second year of Teacher Training at TAMCC.

St. Bernard worked well with staff and provided IT support to the principal at the Holy Spirit Catholic School. St. Bernard participated in many extracurricular activities with students, including being involved in the school choir and literacy activities. She was also active in her community and at church.

This Ministry is grateful for St. Bernard’s contribution to education and wishes God’s comfort and

solace to everyone who will miss her presence at home, in the school, the community and beyond.
