(LOOP NEWS) – Aircraft from the US National Hurricane Centre (NHC) has found that Tropical Depression 13 has strengthened and is now Tropical Storm Laura.
Laura is the twelfth named storm of the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season.
NHC said Tropical Storm Laura has maximum sustained winds around 45 mph (75 km/h). The Hurricane Hunter aircraft also found that the storm’s centre is located south of the previously estimated position.
