PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers in Victoria Housing Scheme, Gross Point through to Maran and surrounding com- munities in the parishes of St. Mark and St. John that the current interruption in water supply is due to a damaged main.
Restoration is anticipated by 4:00 p.m. today Friday July 10th, 2020.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilise their stored supply, taking into consideration the needs of their family and pets.
Please also be advised that although the system will be reopened at 2:00 p.m., consumers in elevated areas, may receive their supply within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
