PR – June 30th to July 2nd, 2020 saw the execution of Phase 2 of the distribution of hygienic supplies to the clients of the Child Protection Authority (CPA) on the sister isle of Carriacou.
Similar to the exercise carried out on mainland in the month of May, the items donated included soap, hand sanitizers and cleaning products made available through funding from the UNICEF Office of the Eastern Caribbean Area and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The CPA praises the donor organizations for their intervention and sees it as a great help in reducing the risk of contracting COVID -19 virus among client families and children in care.
The Authority and recipients express their sincere thanks and appreciation for this gesture.
