PR – The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers served by the Mirabeau Water System, that the current interruption in their water supply is due to system challenges.
Restoration is anticipated by 2:00 p.m. today Thursday May 14th, 2020.
Mirabeau Water System serves: Sabb, Byelands, Mirabeau, Mt. Horne, Grenville, Rose Mont, St. Cloud’s, Balthazar, Grand Bras, Forde, Telescope, St. Mary’s, River Lett, Soubise, Cook Hill, The Villa, Mt. Sealy, Paraclete, Santoo Pee Street, Columba & the entire town of Grenville.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilise their stored supply taking into consideration the needs of their family members and pets.
Please also be advised that although the system will be reopened at 2:00 p.m., consumers in elevated areas, may receive their supply within two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
