PR- The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development, Religious Affairs and Information informs the public that the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, in collaboration with the Government of Grenada, is offering graduate scholarships to pursue studies under the New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarship for Masters andPh.D., for the academic period 2020 to 2021

➢ The NZ Commonwealth Scholarship will be closed on February 28, 2020

➢ Must be a citizen of Grenada. 

➢ Must be 40 years and younger at the time of applying for the scholarship. 

➢ Must demonstrate, in their application, strong academic ability, leadership qualities and 

commitment to the development of their home country. 

➢ Provide the selection panel with a personal statement, which will provide more 

information about your background. 

Documents for scholarship packages required by applicants: 

  • Copy of the NZ Commonwealth application form (obtained via email from Scholarship 

Desk) 

  • Two (2) references 
  • Certified copy of birth certificate and passport bio-data page 
  • Certified copies of academic certificates 
  • Certified copies of ALL university academic transcripts 
  • One (1) Passport size photograph 
  • Personal statement and curriculum vitae

  • Important dates to remember: 

➢ To complete online form on the New Zealand website deadline is February 28, 2020. Closes: 12.00 

pm NZ Time 

➢ To complete and submit all documents to Scholarship Desk is March 6, 2020

Kindly submit a copy of the online application with all attachments to the Human Resource Development Division/Scholarship Desk, at the Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development, Religious Affairs and Information on, or before, March 6th, 2020 to be considered for the NZ Commonwealth Scholarship. Applications received after deadline date will be declined.
