Tsunami Warning For Jamaica And Cuba After 7.3-Magnitude Earthquake

A tsunami warning is in effect in Jamaica, Cuba and the Cayman Islands.

This after a 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck in the Caribbean on Tuesday.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre issued a tsunami alert for the islands near the earthquake’s epicentre.

The tremor struck at 2.10p.m.

The epicentre is located 117km northwest of Lucea, Jamaica at a depth of 10 km. That’s almost directly east of the Cayman islands and Montego Bay is located 133 km SE of the epicentre.
