The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) advises consumers from Petite Esperance, Belle Isle and surrounding communities in the parish of St. David that the current interruption in water supply is due to a damaged water main.
Restoration is anticipated by 6:00 p.m. today Thursday January 9th, 2020.
Consumers are therefore encouraged to utilize their stored supply taking into consideration the needs of their families and pets.
Please also be advised that although the system will be reopened at 6:00 p.m. consumers in elevated areas, may not receive their supply until two (2) hours after the scheduled restoration period.
The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences caused and thanks consumers for their patience as we work towards the delivery of a safe, adequate and reliable water supply.
