Tropical Wave Hits Lesser Antilles

The axis of a tropical wave is presently about 500 miles East of The Lesser Antilles moving West at 15-20 kt. Enhanced moisture associated with this tropical wave extends near and well west of its axis. Scattered moderate convection is presently from South of Grenada eastward. Enhanced showers and thunderstorms are likely for parts of the Windward Islands, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago today and tonight.
Present radar loops show scattered showers presently over and around some islands of the Lesser Antilles.
