Tomorrow Wednesday June 27th, 2018, NAWASA and Hubbards Grenada Limited will join forces to host a workshop entitled Proper Plumbing with PVC at the Hospitality Center of the Grenada National Stadium.
Over 70 persons have registered for this interactive session which targets construction and plumbing companies, individual plumbers as well as persons with general interest in plumbing.
This workshop will focus on the proper use and application of PVC pipes and fittings, highlighting the overall Do’s and DON’Ts in the use of PVC, with specific focus on the history of PVC, best practices guiding installation as well as the costs associated with poor plumbing practices.
The workshop begins at 9:30 a.m. and runs until 1:00 p.m. tomorrow Wednesday June 27th 2018. The team also heads to Carriacou on Thursday June 28th, 2018, for a similar exercise to be facilitated by Electrical Industries Group LTD out of Trinidad.
Broken pipes, leakages and resulting high bills; are all challenges faced by consumers, as a result of poor plumbing practices and through this workshop, pertinent information will be disseminated that may assist customers in identifying challenges and preventing inconveniences that may come about as a result of the use of PVC in plumbing.
