Two St. Andrew residents are on joint drug charges.
Police constable Stalin Belfon from Mt. Horne St. Andrew and Jonell Thomas of Seamon were on Wednesday jointly charged for the possession and trafficking of a controlled drug.
The duo was charged after a police tip off lead to PC Belfon being detained by law men in the Beaulieu, St. George area on Monday evening.
He was caught with 228 lbs of Cannabis in his vehicle which was also confiscated.
The two men who remains in police custody will make their first court appearance at the number 1 high court Thursday.
