ST. GEORGE, GRENADA, FEB. 13 , 2018: Three St. Patrick Fishermen will appear at Sauteurs Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 14th February, 2018 on drug charges.
Kevin Phillip, 25 years, of Levera, Rawle Mc Queen, 28 years of La Fortune and Alvin Alexis, 26 years of Rose Hill were jointly charged with two counts each of trafficking of a controlled drug and conspiracy to traffic a controlled drug after police seized 280 pounds of cannabis from the men on Green Island (outside Levera) on Sunday 11th February, 2018.
A small boat was also confiscated.
In another drug bust police confiscated 329-pounds of cannabis on a beach in Marquis, St. Andrew.
Police investigations are continuing.
