Impasse Continues Between NAWASA And TAWU

St. George’s, Grenada, Jan. 2nd, 2018: There seems to be no ending sight in the stalemate between the National Water and Sewage Authority (NAWASA) and the Grenada Technical and Allied Workers Union (GTAWU).

In a press release sent Tuesday, NAWASA said it is extremely disappointed that the matter remains unresolved, despite having made a significant shift in its position in the spirit of compromise.

NAWASA says it has offered to make all contracted employees with more than two (2) years of service permanent, with an option to ensure that such persons do not lose recognition for any year of service for which gratuity was not paid.
